Alamo Elementary School, founded in 1926, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in central Richmond District in San Francisco, CA. The school serves close to 540 students, from kindergarten to fifth grade. Alamo’s goal is to provide a rich, rewarding education to our students delivered by our highly qualified teachers, staff and community volunteers.

As you tour our school, you will see the beautiful and enriching art works of our local artists-in-residence. The art works exhibited by our students reflect our school motto “Be a Friend.”
