Alamo Elementary School, founded in 1926, is a National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence located in central Richmond District in San Francisco, CA. The school serves close to 540 students, from kindergarten to fifth grade. Alamo’s goal is to provide a rich, rewarding education to our students delivered by our highly qualified teachers, staff and community volunteers.
As you tour our school, you will see the beautiful and enriching art works of our local artists-in-residence. The art works exhibited by our students reflect our school motto “Be a Friend.”
Tours will occur on Thursdays and not Fridays (as indicated in the SFUSD Enrollment Guide)
Are you considering Alamo for your child? We’d love to introduce you to our fantastic school!
Tours take place on Thursdays at 9 am and last about an hour. Check in at the school office, then join us in the library.
