Alamo Elementary School

Thank you to the Alamo Families who have already given as a part of our Direct Appeal campaign. The Alamo PTA and Friends of Alamo School Foundation plays a key role in supporting enrichment and funds required to support the programs that the teachers and Dr. Packer have determined to be key for your child’s education. This financial support fills in the gaps not covered by the ever-shrinking school budget. 

The total cost of all these programs = $120,000 in 2011-2012 (between PTA & Foundation). There are 400 families at Alamo. If each family donates $300, we will be able to easily sustain these programs. We plan to divide these donations equally (50%- 50%) between PTA and Foundation.

To make it easier for families to donate and write only ONE CHECK, we are accepting donations for BOTH the PTA and Foundation via these methods:

By check:

Please make checks payable to “Friends of Alamo Foundation” and drop it off in the office or with your teacher. To save paper and money, we are not printing donation envelopes this year.
