Alamo “Count Me In” Events

Count Me In (CMI) events are fundraisers hosted by Alamo families for Alamo families. In addition to raising money, these fun and creative events also promote community amongst the families at our school. Funds raised go directly to enrichment programs for the benefit of all students at Alamo.
Some of the past events included a tie-dye party, a bowling party, Moms & Margaritas night and a light saber making party. We are looking for families to host CMI events throughout the school year and would appreciate your ideas and participation. CMI can be a wide range of events and price ranges – so there is something for everyone. CMI events are wonderful ways to get to know other Alamo families and build community.

Want to HOST a CMI?

If you have a hobby you are passionate about or just like to have get-togethers, hosting a CMI event is right up your alley. The host decides:
– The type of event you want to host (for Alamo families, adults-only or kids-only)
– The theme/activity of the event (picnic with bouncy house at a park, nature walk, bike ride, camping trip, themed parties about arts and craft, sports, adventure, movies, games, food, etc.)
– The event details (location, date, number of participants)
– The price of the event (we can help with this)
The planning and cost of the event are assumed by the host(s) so that 100% of the proceeds of these fun gatherings benefit the children of Alamo! Partner with another family or ask local businesses to donate to share in the cost and responsibilities.
